Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery as they look to strengthen their midfield options. The Premier League club are said to rate the highly regarded French international extremely highly and are now exploring the possibility of making a formal move.

According to reports, United are preparing an offer worth around €60 million. While no official bid has been submitted yet, the club are expected to use the proposal as an initial step to gauge Paris Saint-Germain's stance and willingness to negotiate.

In addition to club-to-club discussions, Manchester United also intend to assess the player's interest in a move to the Premier League. The club will reportedly decide whether to launch a full-scale pursuit after determining whether the 20-year-old is open to leaving Paris this summer.

However, securing Zaïre-Emery's signature is expected to be far from straightforward. Paris Saint-Germain regard the midfielder as one of the club's cornerstone players for the future, meaning Manchester United's planned offer may not be enough to convince the French champions to sell.
